A. Once you have prepared the required repertoire on your instrument, please follow these directions to record yourself on video:

1. Leave enough distance between yourself and the camera, so that your entire posture is appreciated on screen.
2. Say your name and country clearly before beginning to play.
3. Record all the excerpts as indicated in the order given, without any cuts or edits. Auditions in different order, with cuts or edits, or incomplete auditions may not be considered by the examining panel.
4. Please refrain from adding any material which is not requested, adding titles, or saying anything about yourself besides what is requested on point 1.

B. When your recording is finished, please upload to YouTube, following these considerations:

1. Your video security must be set to "Unlisted". Videos set to "Private" will not be considered.
2. The title of your video should follow the format: "Name - Instrument - YOA Audition 2013"
3. Leave the description and tag fields blank.
4. If you have questions on how to upload to YouTube, please refer to the instructions on their site. For any questions regarding the audition itself, please contact María Montaño at mmontano@yoa.org.

YOA Audición - Instrucciones para grabar y subir a YouTube

A. Una vez que haya preparado el repertorio requerido en su instrumento, por favor siga las instrucciones para grabarse en video:

1. Deje suficiente espacio entre usted y la cámara, de manera que su postura completa pueda apreciarse en la pantalla.
2. Diga su nombre y país claramente antes de empezar a tocar.
3. Grabe todos los extractos como se indica en el orden dado, sin cortes ni ediciones. Audiciones en orden diferente, con cortes o ediciones; o audiciones incompletas pudieran no ser consideradas por el panel de examinadores.
4. Por favor absténgase de añadir material musical que no está siendo solicitado, añadir subtítulos, o decir nada sobre usted aparte de lo indicado en el punto 1.

B. Cuando su grabación esté concluida, por favor súbala a YouTube siguiendo los siguientes pasos:

1. Su video debe subirse como "Unlisted" en los parámetros de privacidad (Privacy). Videos subidos como "Private" no pueden ser considerados.
2. El título del video debe estar en el siguiente formato: "Nombre - Instrumento - YOA Audition 2013"
3. Deje en blanco el área de descripción (description) y etiquetas (tags)
4. Si tiene preguntas sobre cómo subir su video a YouTube, refiérase a las intrusiones en el portal de YouTube. Para preguntas sobre la audición per se, por favor contacte a María Montaño a mmontano@yoa.org.
